From the Outback to Your Wall — How Raw Oz Images Fine Art Prints Are Made

Robert Werda

Introduction: Every Raw Oz Images print begins with a moment — a split second in the Australian wilderness where light, landscape, and timing align perfectly. What happens next is where the art really begins. ' A MOMENT FROZEN IN TIME TO LAST FOREVER "

In the Field We have traveled to some of Australia's most Breathtaking locations to capture images that most people will never see in person. Each shot is carefully composed, patiently waited for, and precisely timed. These aren't snapshots — they're the result of years of craft and an intimate knowledge of the Australian landscape.

The Printing Process Once an image is selected for print, it goes through a meticulous colour grading and preparation process before a single drop of ink touches paper. We use professional archival pigment inks that are rated to last 100+ years without fading — because your print should outlast the wall it hangs on.

Paper Selection — Why It Matters We offer FOUR premium paper options because we believe the substrate is as important as the image itself:

  •  Fine art satin - Hahnemühle Sustainable Photo Satin is a sustainable alternative to PE-based (Polyethene) inkjet photo papers. The newly developed bio inkjet coating is free of plastic composites/film and 100% recyclable via the wastepaper cycle. The bright white photo paper has a velvety smooth surface and is perfect for sustainable photo and poster printing.
  • Photo Gloss Pearl - Metallic - a premium high gloss photographic paper that delivers rich, deep blacks and vibrant colour. Ideal for wildlife and high-contrast images. Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl is a cellulose-based FineArt inkjet paper with an inkjet coating specially tailored for FineArt use. The bright white paper has a delicately textured surface and a smooth, silky feel. In combination with the premium inkjet coating, it produces an elegant finish with a subtle, pearl-gloss effect. Once printed, the paper impresses with outstanding reproduction of colour and detail, deep blacks and striking contrasts. The acid- and lignin-free FineArt Pearl meets the most exacting requirements for age resistance and is ideal for printing high-quality black and white as well as colour photographs
